The accommodations were cozy and well-equipped, with a log burner that kept us warm throughout our stay. The welcome pack provided fresh bread, pastries, and even a small bottle of Prosecco, which was a lovely touch. The on-site pub served delicious home-cooked food, and we especially enjoyed their generous Sunday Roast. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the presence of Aggie the dog added to our overall enjoyment. The beautiful surroundings and the presence of well-kept goats added a charming touch to our experience.
The lack of Wi-Fi in the shepherd huts was unexpected and inconvenient, especially as we had specifically chosen this location for astrophotography purposes. a lack of privacy within the accommodations was a bit uncomfortable, particularly when sharing a room with another person.

We had a fantastic stay at the Gaggle Of Geese! The Shepherd hut was modern, clean, and had all the facilities we needed. The large and private garden area in front of the hut was a real bonus. The staff were friendly and attentive, making our stay even more enjoyable. The pub food was amazing, and my partner loved the cocktail menu. The location was perfect, with beautiful green fields and plenty of activities for our children, including a play bus. We loved it so much that we're already planning to go back in November.
Breakfast delights, a stove or hob in the Shepherd hut would have been great for cooking.

The accommodation was surprisingly spacious and cozy. We loved the efficient log burner and the welcome pack with fresh bread, pastries, and Prosecco. The pub served delicious, home-cooked food, especially the Sunday Roast. The bar staff were attentive and the presence of Aggie the dog added to the charm. The beautiful surroundings and tranquil atmosphere made for a peaceful and enjoyable stay.
The lukewarm water was a disappointment, and we could have used more storage space. The large table was often in the way.

The setting of this charming little place was lovely and peaceful. The lack of signal and WiFi allowed us to live in the moment. The staff were friendly and the food at the pub was delicious, especially the homemade garlic mayo.
It would have been nice to have a curtain separating the rooms for more privacy. Also, the toilet could use a key lock to prevent other guests from using it.
